Where grass keeps losing
Most turf calls start the same way. You've reseeded the same patch three times. Or the dogs wore a dirt track along the fence, and the mud follows them inside. Or the shade is too deep, and the grass thins out every year no matter what you do. Sometimes it's the water bill. Keeping Bermuda alive through a North Texas August isn't cheap. Turf ends that fight. The right product on a properly built base gives you a green yard that stays green.

What we install
Full synthetic lawns. Front yards and backyards, replaced edge to edge.
Pet turf. Built for dogs: tougher fibers, a fast-draining base, and infill that controls odor. The mud goes away with the dirt.
Putting greens. Backyard practice areas with a clean edge and a base built for the roll you want.
Sport surfaces. Durable turf for play, training, and high-traffic use.
Play areas. Even, soft underfoot, and no bare spots under the swing set. A cushioned pad can go underneath for extra fall protection.
Shade and problem spots.Side yards, narrow strips, under mature trees. Turf doesn't need sun.
Concrete and roof surfaces. Turf installed over the right prepared hard surface when the drainage and edge details make sense.
Partial installs. Turf in the problem zones, real grass where it still belongs.
Courtyards and commercial spaces. Entries and common areas that need to look kept without a mowing crew. For business and HOA properties, see our commercial landscaping services.
Every installation includes the part you don't see. The old grass comes out. The ground gets graded, the base gets compacted, and the edges get anchored. Drainage is built in so storm water moves through and away.
Turf you supply, labor only.Already have turf, or set on a specific brand? We'll install what you supply. Most turf companies only install what you buy from them. We're glad to lay yours.
What changes
Green in February and green in August.
The mowing, watering, and fertilizing stop for that part of the yard.
Summer water bills drop, because the sprinklers stop running on grass that was barely hanging on anyway.
Dogs come in clean. No mud, no dead spots, no smell when the base drains right.
It takes traffic. Kids, dogs, and daily foot paths don't wear it bare.

How it works
We walk the yard with you.
Where the grass is failing, how the space gets used, and where water goes in a storm.
You pick the turf.
We bring samples. Blade height, color, and feel vary more than people expect. And a pet area needs a different build than a front lawn.
We build the base.
The old grass and a few inches of soil come out. We grade, add base rock, and compact it so the surface stays flat for years.
We lay the turf.
Cut to fit, seamed tight, and anchored at the edges.
Infill and brush-up.
We spread the infill and brush the blades upright. That's what makes it stand like a lawn instead of lying flat like carpet.
Final walk-through.
You check the work with us before we call it done.
Most residential installations take a few days, depending on size.

Turf in the North Texas climate
Let's be straight about the heat. Turf in full August sun gets hotter than real grass underfoot. Lighter colors and certain infills run cooler, shade helps, and a quick rinse cools it fast. If bare feet in summer are part of the plan, say so. We'll steer you to the right product. The flip side: when watering restrictions tighten in July, turf doesn't care and doesn't go brown. The soil here matters too. North Texas clay swells and shrinks as it wets and dries. A thin base over bad grading turns into a lumpy lawn. That's why we don't skip the excavation and compaction. And our rain comes hard when it comes. The base is graded to move storm water through instead of letting it pool. Some HOAs have rules about turf, especially in front yards. If yours does, we work within the guidelines.

Questions homeowners ask about artificial turf
Get your free quoteIt depends on the square footage, the turf you pick, and how much base work the site needs. We measure the area and quote it in writing. For what actually drives the number in DFW, read our artificial turf cost guide.
In full sun, it gets hotter than real grass. That's the honest trade-off. Lighter turf colors and some infills stay cooler. Shade or a quick rinse brings the temperature down fast. Tell us how you'll use the space, and we'll pick a product that fits.
Yes. Good turf is made for kids and pets. For play areas, we can add a cushioned pad underneath. For pets, we build a draining base with odor-control infill. And there's no fertilizer or weed treatment on the grass they roll in.
Yes. Bring your own turf, or pick a brand you like, and we'll install it labor only. That flexibility isn't common, and we're happy to offer it.
The turf backing is perforated, so water drains through into the base instead of pooling on top. The base is graded to carry it away. That's most of why the prep work matters. If your yard already holds water, we fix that first — see our drainage services.
A quality, UV-rated turf generally lasts about 15 to 20 years in the Texas sun. That's the range for the category, not a promise on any one product — bargain turf can fade and go brittle in well under ten. Manufacturer warranties typically run around 15 years, and they come from the turf maker rather than from us. We'll show you the exact lifespan and warranty terms on whatever you pick, before you buy.
It depends on the spot. If the area gets good sun, real lawn care can usually bring the grass back. Turf wins in deep shade, dog runs, and patches you're tired of replanting. We wrote up the full comparison.
