Landscaping in Dallas, TX
Dallas has some of the biggest landscaping companies in Texas. We're not one of them, on purpose. We're a locally owned landscaper based in Colleyville, west of the city. One person stays your contact from the first walkthrough to the last day. We design and build planting beds, drainage, patios, and outdoor living for Dallas homes. Licensed and insured.

The ground under Dallas doesn't care how big the city is
Dallas sits on blackland prairie. The soil is the sticky dark clay Texans call gumbo. After a storm it holds water like a bowl. By August it sets up hard as brick and cracks open. The older neighborhoods add mature trees and deep shade. Many still run sprinkler systems as old as the house. We work with all of it, from Highland Park to the city limits.

The problems Dallas yards keep having
Different neighborhoods, same clay. These are the calls we get most:
Rainwater that stays for days.
Gumbo clay barely drains on its own, so low spots turn into ponds. See fixing standing water.
Grass that quits in July.
Heat, deep tree shade, and a badly aimed sprinkler zone each cost you a patch of green. See why your lawn has brown patches.
Plants that were never going to make it.
Some plants drink all summer and give up anyway. The right ones don't. See drought-tolerant plants for North Texas.
Watering days are capped.
Dallas caps sprinkler watering at twice a week, so every zone has to count. An efficient system makes the most of the days you get. See sprinklers & irrigation.
Some of these are ours to fix, and some aren't. Tell us what you're seeing, and we'll sort out which.

Dallas landscaping questions
Get your free quoteYes, all the time. We're about twenty-five miles west of Dallas. Depending on traffic, that's thirty to forty-five minutes. We build the drive into our day, not into your price.
Yes. Highland Park is part of our regular Dallas service area. The town runs its own building rules and review process, and we're used to working within them. We keep the site clean and the schedule tight.
Every yard gets its own number. A drainage fix and a full backyard build are different jobs, and Dallas lots run from tight to sprawling. Materials and drainage scope move the number too. We price the work after we've walked the property with you, and the written quote costs nothing.
The person who walks your yard and writes your quote stays your contact. You'll have their name and number. Questions go to them, not to a call center.
That's how we work. Design, drainage, the patio, the lighting — one company carries all of it, plan to finished yard. Nothing falls between contractors.
Smaller work, like a drainage cleanout or a lighting fix, usually starts within one to two weeks. A full build needs about four to six weeks first for planning and scheduling.

Point us at the project — a backyard that floods, a patio that never got built, sprinklers that waste half their water. We'll come out and look at the real thing. And from that day on, you'll know exactly who's handling it.
